What Skull Cap Trends collects when you make a video, who processes your photo, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.

Last updated: 2026-11-04

Skull Cap Trends (skullcaptrends.com) turns one photo into a short skull cap trend video. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why, who else handles it, and how long we keep it.

In short, we only collect what it takes to make and deliver your video. Your photo is sent to one AI video service to make that video and for nothing else. We never sell personal data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your photos or videos to train AI models.

What we collect

If you sign in, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We don't get your Google password.

When you make a video, we keep the photo you uploaded, the video that comes back, and the settings you picked, such as the template, length and format. We also keep how many credits each video used.

When you buy credits, Stripe processes the payment. We receive the amount, the pack you bought and whether the payment went through. We never see or store your card number.

You can make one free 5-second preview before signing in. To stop the same browser from claiming it twice, we give your browser a random ID in a cookie. If you sign in later, that preview moves to your account.

Technical information

We use your IP address briefly to protect the site from abuse through rate limits. We don't use it to follow you around the web.

If you arrive from a link with campaign tags or from another website, we note where you came from in a cookie for 30 days, so we know which links bring people in. It is attached to your account only if you sign up.

We count visits with analytics that we run on our own server. It sets no cookies, and we see totals such as which pages are read, not who you are. The cookies we use are listed in our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

We use this information only to run Skull Cap Trends: making your videos and showing them in your account, managing credits, payments and refunds, keeping the service safe, and answering your emails. We don't send marketing emails, and we don't share your details with anyone for their own marketing.

Who handles your data

Your photo is sent to APIMart, the AI service that runs the video model (ByteDance's Seedance). It checks the photo against its content rules and uses it to make your video. It may keep a copy for a short time under its own terms.

Cloudflare provides our hosting, database and file storage. Google handles sign-in, and Stripe handles payments. These companies may process data in the United States and in other countries where they operate.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order.

Who can see your photos and videos

Your photos and videos are not listed or published anywhere on the site, and nobody else can see them in your account. Each file does have its own web link, though, made of a long random string that can't be guessed. Anyone you give that link to can open the file, so share video links only with people you want to see them.

How long we keep it

Your photos and videos stay in your account until you ask us to delete them. Removing a video in My Creations hides it from your account. To remove the files themselves, or everything we hold about you, email us and we will do it within 30 days.

If you never sign in, the photo and preview from your free try are kept the same way. Email us with the date and time of your try and we will find and remove them.

Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after your account is deleted.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything in it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as objecting to how your data is used. Email us from the address on your account and we will reply within 30 days.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS, and only we can reach the database and storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data, and we will tell you promptly if a breach puts it at risk.

Children

Skull Cap Trends is for adults. Accounts are only for people 18 and over, and photos of children must not be uploaded. If we find a photo of a child, we delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and post a notice on the site before the change takes effect.
